Monte Kendrick

Pixelogiq Data Systems, LLC is a family-owned and operated technology consulting firm located in Madison, Wisconsin. We currently market our services under three service marks that reflect our broad range of activities: PDS Data Security, PDS Digital Solutions, and PDS Design Studio. The interplay of these units allows us to offer a total technology solution to fit any need. Additional technical communication services are offered through our BioWrite.com unit. Although we are based in the Upper Midwest, Pixelogiq provides consulting and contract services throughout North America.

About Our President

Monte Kendrick began working with computers at the dawn of the PC era and has passionately embraced technology ever since. Monte earned a master's degree from Ohio State in 1992, and he is now nearing completion of a second master's in information assurance from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management (an NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education). He possesses two management certificates from the American Management Association, a computer security certificate from Stanford University, and over a dozen information technology and security certifications, including:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • CompTIA A+, iNet+, Network+, Linux+, Security+
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Master CIW Designer
  • CIW Security Professional

Monte has held a variety of positions over the course of his career, including research scientist, technical writer, media developer, webmaster, and technology consultant. He has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector and continues to provide services to leaders in the industry. He is a board-certified editor in the life sciences and has served as an editor for a variety of industry publications, including the Current Protocols series (John Wiley and Sons), Promega Notes and Neural Notes (Promega), and Science Tools (Pharmacia Biotech). As Monte's career turned more toward silicon technologies, he has written for a much wider audience and currently has two books in development.

Monte is an active member of the Information Systems Security Association, the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the Computer Technology Industry Association, the IEEE Computer Society, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Computer Security Institute, the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants, the International Webmasters Association-HTML Writers Guild, the Internet Society, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and American Mensa.
