Corporate Security Training
Pixelogiq provides a number of package workshops and training seminars. Most of these are delivered as half-day events on the customer premises or at a local meeting facility. If the existing training options do not suit your needs, we can provide custom training for an additional materials fee. Occasionally we provide free one-hour sessions for home users and small businesses through libraries and computer user groups.
Employee Awareness
Often businesses will lock down the network perimeter yet fail to address the greatest threat to their data—their employees. Peer-to-peer applications, unauthorized software, improper web surfing, removable media, and social engineering attacks all pose threats to corporate assets. We cover these topics and many more to help employees realize their role in protecting company information.
Risk Management
Protection of assets requires an enumeration of key assets, a determination of their values, and an examination of the type and probability of threats. Pixelogiq uses the CERT Operationally Critical Threat, Asset, and Vulnerability Evaluation (OCTAVE) approach to risk management. These flexible, self-directed workshops are driven by operational security practices and can be tailored to any organization.
Physical Security
Technical and administrative security controls are necessary, yet they can be rendered ineffective if physical security is not addressed as well. Pixelogiq can evaluate your physical security controls and make recommendations on ways to improve your security posture. Topics may include physical access control, server security, egress monitoring, and mobile computing.
Executive Education
Busy executives often don't have time to keep current on changing threats and regulations. Pixelogiq has developed a number of executive training courses that distill the volumes of information down to a more manageable level. These half-day seminars cover the current state of technology, internal and external threats, and regulatory compliance issues (Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
