Software Development and Support
Working with our associates, Pixelogiq provides both Windows and Linux application development, integration, and support services. Preferred languages and platforms include PHP, ASP.NET, Ajax/XML, C#.NET, C/C++, Python, and Perl. Using Linux ports of the .NET framework, such as Mono and DotGNU, we can even recompile Windows applications to run natively on the Gnome/KDE desktop.
Application Development
With so many outstanding open source projects available, Pixelogiq has seen a decline in requests for custom application development. Although such custom work is still available, we can often modify existing applications and components to more efficiently meet the security and functional requirements of the project. This significantly lowers the cost and speeds the development cycle.
Cross-Platform Integration
In a mixed computing environment, it can be difficult to establish unified software resources. Fortunately, there are many solutions that allow users on Windows, Mac, and Linux to share resources and applications. Depending on the situation, Pixelogiq can develop web-based applications, recompile existing code, or provide virtualized (e.g., VMware) environments. We will tailor the solution to fit your needs.
Software Training and Support
Pixelogiq provides on-site training and support services for many common software packages. We currently support the following operating systems and applications: Windows 2K/XP/Vista, Mac OSX, Linux (many distros), Microsoft Office, OpenOffice.org, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe/Macromedia Flash. Additional training and support services may be available upon request.
Web-Based Applications
Web development differs from web design in that the latter is primarily concerned with interface and content presentation issues. Pixelogiq offers true development services using interactive scripting and programing languages. Web-based applications often provide a convenient and cost-effective solution for remote workers and mixed computing environments, and they can be deployed across intranets and SSL-based VPNs.
